The debate was chaired by The Rt Hon Sir Patrick Elias with The Rt Hon Sir Stanley Burnton and Peter Kellner CBE FBA proposing and Professor Vernon Bogdanor and Dominic Grieve MP QC opposing. The audience was treated to a highly entertaining and thought provoking debate with both sides firmly putting their respective cases. Following the debate, members of the audience enthusiastically took the opportunity to question the panel further.
