Launch of Pro Bono Week 2025

At last night's launch of pro bono week 2025 at Simmons & Simmons Attorney General Richard Hermer spoke on the vital part played by members of the legal community in providing pro bono services.

Following a panel of speakers drawn from across the profession, Claire Butler of Clyde & Co announced the formation of the AG's International Rule of Law Committee which she will co-chair with the Rt. Hon Sir Stephen Irwin, Chairman of the Slynn Foundation and Christopher Melton KC. The group has broad representation including legal firms, NGOs, FCDO, law firms and others who offer pro bono legal services across the globe.
