The first Slynn Foundation Fellow Jukka Snell, was from Finland. His area of expertise is European Union law. Before joining the University of Turku, he held the post of Professor of European Law at Swansea University, where he had also served as the Deputy Head of School and the Operational Head of School. He is now Professor of European Law at the University of Turku. He teaches courses on the Foundations of European Law and on the Internal Market Law, and supervises dissertations both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
