The Foundation has participated in a number of seminars in Sofia and has also arranged a programme for a delegation of senior judges to London. This programme consisted of visits to several courts, a seminar on court practice and a seminar on EU Law.
In March 2017, the British Ambassador in Sofia invited the Foundation to undertake a 3 day scoping trip to ascertain the extent to which the Foundation could assist the Bulgarian judiciary with training and peer to peer support. A very full programme of visits was arranged by the Embassy, including meetings with Mr Panov, the Chair of Supreme Court of Cassation (SCC), representatives of the Criminal, the Commercial and the Civil Divisions of the SCC, the Union of Judges in Bulgaria, representatives of National Institute of Justice, representatives of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) and several NGOs.
