ADR & Mediation
ADR and Mediation Activities
The Foundation has conducted advanced mediation courses for mediation trainers and qualified mediators in Craiova, Romania, and then participated in the Second Congress of the Union of Romanian Mediation Centres in Bucharest. It repeated this mediation training in Buzau.

The Foundation also participated in a European Union project training judges in Riga, Latvia in ADR for family law issues and conducted a similar activity in Zagreb, Croatia.

Foundation members have also been involved in delivering two 5-day mediation training courses in Amman, Jordan for the Jordanian Judiciary, in collaboration with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, in a project aimed at supporting the growth of mediation services in the Jordan.

The Foundation has delivered a series of two-day mediation courses to novices and experienced mediators in Durres, Korca and Tirana, in Albania.

All training courses involve training in Communication Skills, as well as in the theory and psychology of conflict. The courses consist of lectures, exercises, mock mediations and discussions.
