Trustee Opportunities

The Slynn Foundation works with senior judges and justice institutions around the world to enhance the rule of law, and to improve professional understanding of human rights, mediation and legal practice.  https://www.slynn-foundation.org/

As a UK charity with projects across the globe, our board of trustees provides a breadth of skills, experience and knowledge that we draw on to help us reach our goals, as well as being critical to our governance. Our current and past trustees include serving and retired senior judges, senior members of the legal professions, senior civil servants, and diplomats. Our President is Lady Rose of Colmworth, DBE.

We are currently seeking trustee candidates with significant experience at a senior level of the justice system of England and Wales or those with specific skills or expertise relevant to the Slynn Foundation’s purposes and work. https://www.slynn-foundation.org/whatwedo  Candidates should have a record of public or voluntary service and be willing and able to take an active part in our projects.

Applications: please provide a short CV and letter expressing why you are interested in being a trustee of the Slynn Foundation and what skills you can offer, including any relevant training experience to complement or enhance our current project portfolio.  Applications by email by no later than 4pm on 29 of January 2024 to slynn_foundation_ed@outlook.com only with the subject line "Trustee Application" applications will not be accepted at any other email address.   Interviews will take place in February 2024.

The Slynn Foundation was established to promote and enhance the rule of law and, therefore, at our core, we seek to achieve equality, diversity and inclusivity. In recruiting trustees, we have these principles in mind.
